Goat Milk Soap and Skincare

I use as few chemicals as possible for my lotions and hand creams. However, goat milk needs a preservative when made into lotions and creams so I have added just enough preservative to hold the creams. The herbal lotion is soothing and cool and can be used on any skin type but is particularly popular with clients with psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions. However it is always advisable if you have ultra-sensitive skin, start with a small amount of these creams and the herbal lotion to make sure they are suitable.

Goat milk is different from cow's milk in the molecular structure of the naturally occurring proteins and triglycerides. These shorter strands are more easily absorbed into the skin resulting in a natural moisturising effect. Goat milk is also naturally anti-inflammatory.

I have substituted olive-based products instead of anything derived from palm oil and am very happy with the results - I hope you will be too. These products contain no palm oil, sodium lauryl sulphate or other additives.

I am pleased to announce that I have now sourced ultra soft and flexible tubes for the creams and these are proving very popular with my clients who buy from me at my market stall.

Herbal lotion $15 - 100g

This is a specially formulated lotion containing goat milk and a range of herbs and essential oils which have been traditionally acknowledged as being helpful with eczema and psoriasis. This light lotion will leave the skin feeling soft and non-greasy – only a small amount is required.

Ingredients: South Gippsland goat milk, filtered rainwater, oliv-wax, oliv-emulse, rice bran oil infused with calendula, chickweed and chamomile herbs, shea butter, hemp seed oil, emu oil, Gippsland grown lavender essential oil, peppermint essential oil and preservative.  Note: it is always wise to do a small test patch first as with any new product.
